On The Lookout For Our Agency

Danny and I were off to Clermont to learn more about adoption and to hopefully find our agency.  While at the information session, we heard all about these beautiful adoption stories that happened right here in the the US, I started questioning whether Danny and I were doing the right thing going out of the US???  I will get back to that in a moment.  After some of the witnesses were given about the adoption experiences, we heard from an agency, she gave info on the paperwork, and the timing and some on cost, it was a lot of great information, that can overwhelm you.  After the session was over we had a private chat with the person from Bethany Christian services, and she was very nice... We left feeling great, and hopeful that Bethany would be the perfect agency.  SIDE NOTE-  I heard many horror stories of agencies taking your money and not delivering anything but heartache, so finding the right agency I believed was the most critical part.  I knew that God would guide me, but I wanted to make sure I was hearing him, so I tried hard to pay attention and choose wisely.
So that following day I called Bethany, told them I was at the information session the night before and that I needed more information on their services for an adoption in the Ukraine.  I told her my story and what God has done up until this point.  The contact their told me that a Ukraine adoption can sometimes be tricky and she would try and find out from her International coordinator more information but it wasn't looking like they would be able to service this adoption ( these are my own words, the only thing that mattered to me was is this our agency or not)  I was a little disappointed but knew God was in control,  SIDE NOTE- remember the prayer, GOD PLEASE MAKE THIS FAST- well, to me everything just STOPPED.
Lets get back to are we doing the right thing by adopting overseas?  So I could not get out of my heard the thought that maybe we were not doing the right thing by going outside the US, their are tons of kids right here in Florida, so I reached out to a very close friend that has been on this journey with us since the say God spoke to us, and I asked him, "Friend" are we doing the right thing by going out of the US to adopt, maybe we should stay here and adopt domestically?  He immidiately knew what to say.... Danielle.... God sent you to the Ukraine a few months ago, and then told you to adopt while Mr. Alexi was giving his testimony about the Ukraine, then Danny hears on the radio a witness of men who adopted from the Ukraine... Danielle ... dont get off track...its the Ukraine...  HMMMMM your right, I jumped back into my traincar, and got back on track!
